Bayern pay 100 million for dream striker

Harry Kane will celebrate his 30th birthday next summer, but the record of the English top striker still looks virginally white. He still failed to take a collective trophy, as Tottenham and the England national team have failed every time over the past decade. Kane came closest in 2019 and 2021, but things went wrong in the finals of the Champions League and European Championship respectively.

That lack of awards has made Kane wish to leave the Spurs a few times in recent years. That transfer also seemed to be coming, especially in the summer of 2021. Kane publicly indicated that he wanted to leave and Manchester City also pulled hard, but in the end Tottenham did not give in. But there may be an opening next summer, as Kane enters his final year of contract.

According to TZ Bayern Munich want to take advantage of that. The German record champion saw Robert Lewandowski leave for FC Barcelona in the summer against his will and did not really find a replacement for the Polish goal-getter. Sadio Mane did come over from Liverpool, but that is a different type. As a result, Bayern currently has no real striker in its selection.

100 MILLION

Kane must therefore remedy that shortcoming and Bayern would be prepared to go far for his arrival. They would set aside no less than 100 million euros to get him out of London. Only Tottenham will have to cooperate and with chairman Daniel Levy that is never a guarantee. Kane will probably be charmed by the interest, as he could certainly win trophies at Bayern.
