For its second away game in a row in NM3, Esclams traveled to Coulommiers this Saturday evening.
With their latest recruit in the person of Darreon Tolliver, but without Karoui, ESCLAMS were aiming for a first away victory.
At the end of a rather offensive first quarter, the GreenTeam is behind by a short header (24-21). Well in the game, the Picards are going reverse in a very prolific second quarter also offensively (41-47).
The return from the locker room is very complicated for visitors. Indeed, those for whom defense is a strong point will cash 31 points in 10 minutes. As money time approaches, the Longacoissiens are trailing by 11 points (72-61). But this Samarian team has resources and thanks to a rediscovered defense will reverse the trend. By taking only 9 small points, Longueau managed to win on the wire 81-82.
The ESCLAMS takes its first away victory of the season and remains in the positive.
Coulommiers – ESCLAMS: 81-82 (24-21, 17-26, 31-14, 9-21)
