Saint-Pourcain-sur-Besbre. Archery at the RSVB. Archery is a sport of precision and concentration that can be practiced by everyone, by adapting the choice of bow and the distance to the target to each person’s physical abilities.
The National Sports Retirement Federation recommends it to its members and the Val de Besbre Sports Retreat has been offering this activity for ten years.
But archery attracts few members. Bernard Mornat, the host, therefore invites new archers to the Monday sessions at 2 p.m. at the Espace Boudeville in Dompierre. Two ladies have joined the group this season. There are also sessions on Fridays, at 2 p.m., at the Donjon. The RSVB can provide the material.
The departmental committee organizes a challenge each year and the Val de Besbre team is always well ranked.
