Piratas de Bogotá started the new season of the BetPlay Basketball League, the professional basketball tournament in Colombia, on the wrong foot.

The patch team fell against Toros del Valle in Cali by a score of 88 to 78. A tough start to the championship for the Bogota team, who had their best player in Jeremy Smith.

The Vallecaucanos, who came to the tournament to replace Team Cali, thus added their first victory in the championship, which began on Sunday with the victory of Titanes de Barranquilla against Búcaros de Bucaramanga.

Piratas, at the Evangelista Mora Coliseum, had no response to face players like Cristian Solis, who was chosen as the MVP of the match with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
