Alberto Ginés, brand new Olympic climbing champion, will face one of his most spectacular challenges this weekend in the Red Bull Dual Ascent challenge, which the company will carry out on the wall of the Verzasca dam, in Switzerland. A unique event since the track that has been set up will be dismantled once this competition is over.
Ginés will be one of the 16 participants who face this new wall in which a line of 180 meters of six lengths must be ascended. The route has already been tested by climbers Shauna Coxsey and Pesche Wüthrich, who will be two of the 16 participants in the test.
Ginés himself wanted to share two videos on stage through his social networks in which they will compete this weekend in which the sensation of vertigo remains more than evident, especially in the second of them, recorded by the Extremaduran climber on the wall of the dam. “The fucking mother, this week we are going to compete climbing this. What madness”, commented Ginés along with the videos before facing this new challenge for the ‘Spiderman of Cáceres’.
