Artenay. Artenay is mobilizing with the League Against Cancer for Pink October. On the initiative of the Judo club of the Artenay region, in partnership with the municipality, a giant taïso in the gymnasium was organized on Saturday. For a modest participation, from 5 euros, donated in full to the League against cancer, the participants benefited from a T-shirt with a pink ribbon and above all from a taïso session led by Clément Pavie, municipal sports educator. .
The Artenaysiens responded present, with more than 40 people. Dynamic music, cardio and muscular exercises, for an hour, set the pace on the mats installed in the gymnasium.
“We recovered 330 euros for the League against cancer on the occasion of this sports and solidarity morning”, specifies Céline Mugner, deputy mayor in charge of sports. The participants were delighted with this experience to fight against breast cancer. The judo club offered refreshments after the session.
