“The first time it was down, there was tension in the first game. But in the second game we were able to overcome it. The game was also better,” said Dania as reported by BolaSport.com from Badminton Indonesia.
“It’s good to be able to play in the first match and contribute points for Indonesia. In the future we must be able to control the field more, especially with the glare of the lights. For wind direction and shuttlecocks there are no problems, everything is ok,” said Rafli.
Indonesia increased its advantage through the men’s singles representative Alwi Farhan in the second party. Alwi overcame Toms Sala’s resistance 21-4, 21-13.
“Alhamdulillah, I was able to contribute the second point for Indonesia. In the first game my game was good. From the field side it was also profitable,” said Alwi.
“In the second game, the side of the field was dazzling so I was still looking for ways to overcome it. My opponent was still below my level, so the coach instructed me to strengthen my shots and playing patterns,” said Alwi.
Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo, who played in the third party, finally ensured the Indonesian team’s victory after picking up a 21-6, 21-11 victory over Anna Kupca.
