When will the game unlock on PlayStation, Xbox and PC?

Many fans of the NBA 2K series are eagerly anticipating a new game around this time as the NBA season hasn’t started yet and they need a scratch for the pro basketball itch. Just like last year, this year’s game will be out in September, reigniting the same old debate of which player is overrated and who is underrated when comparing NBA player versions of the game to their real-life counterparts. NBA 2K23 release date on consoles and PC

Visual Concepts’ simulator launches just before the actual NBA season every year, and for 2K23 that means the game will hit shelves on September 8th for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and for the first time in years there is no way to unlock the game early. Everyone will be playing the game at the same time when it releases in just a few days.

New features in NBA 2K23

Annual sports simulator games can be quite repetitive with no real gameplay or graphics changes. This year, however, NBA 2K23 will bring new features to its modes.

MyPlayer:

MyPlayer is an essential feature that launches you on your own career path in the NBA. However, the new storyline in this game allows you to pick your own spot in the NBA draft, meaning you can choose which team you want to play for. As you replace the anticipated new rookie, you must win the hearts and minds of a disappointed fan base.

Other features in the game include MyNBA Eras, which heavily alters the franchise mode, allowing you to start a franchise at any point in NBA history.

There’s also the Jordan Challenge, which makes a major comeback from NBA 2k11 and allows you to follow in the footsteps of the pugnacious GOAT.
