Weiler-Babb would like to continue playing for Germany

Berlin. Nick Weiler-Babb, who only naturalized this summer, would like to play for Germany’s national basketball team in the long term. This is what the 26-year-old FC Bayern Munich professional said on the European Championship final weekend in Berlin.
“I would love to come back and play again. It’s a great summer, I love it,” said Weiler-Babb. The European Championship, in which Germany plays against Poland for bronze on Sunday (5:15 p.m. / RTL and Magentasport), is “one of the highlights” of his career so far. The winger has German roots and joined national coach Gordon Herbert’s team after naturalization in August.
