The men of Davis Love III nevertheless trembled at the end of the competition against brave Internationals but Xander Schauffele finally gave the point of victory to Quail Hollow (17.5 – 12.5).

As a symbol it is Jordan Spieth (author of a rare clear round this week) who gave his team the first point on Sunday by easily overcoming Cam Davisyet very good all week (4 & 3).

If Woo Kim defeats Justin Thomas
The international players have tried to pick up the score in the wake of Si Woo Kimwinner of Justin Thomas in a very spectacular first match with eleven birdies in particular (1 up).

Europe has been warned!
We will therefore remember the performance of Jordan Spieth who scored five out of five possible points by winning the first single of his career in the Presidents Cup or in Ryder Cup. Or even the beginnings of Max Homa, undefeated, who posted a flattering 4-0. This victory also brings Davis Love III in history since he joins Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer et Steve Stricker among the American captains who have won the Presidents Cup and the Ryder Cup. The next edition will take place in Canada and it is hoped that the maple leaf representatives will be more successful since there were two of them this year (a record), but neither Taylor Pendrith in Corey Conners did not bring back the slightest point… In short, the Europeans have been warned while waiting for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy.
