The fourth title of European champions is heading to the Spanish cabin. In the traditional final, they unequivocally beat France 88:76, and after triumphs in 2009, 2011 and 2015, they added gold this year as well. The bronze dot and the completion of the medals from the European championship were claimed by the basketball players of Germany. In their last game at home, they beat the Poles 82:69 against the boisterous backdrop of Mercedes-Benz Arena fans. After gold from 1993 and silver from 2005, they are celebrating the third valuable metal in history from the European Championship.
