Mirka Federer does not give any interviews and hardly appears in public. Does her life begin now after her husband resigned?

Anyone who has followed the major tennis tournaments on television in recent years, the night sessions at the US Open, the epic five-seaters in Wimbledon, has seen her cheer and despair, watched her cheer on her husband, keep her fingers crossed for him, herself holds his hands in front of his face when he twists his backhand. But hardly anyone knows Mirka Federer’s voice: Does she speak to her children in Eastern Swiss dialect, after all she grew up in Kreuzlingen and went to school – or do the Federers speak English because they’ve been on the road all their lives and live out of suitcases?
