Infernal loop of the Minervois: a new challenge for the Groles trotters of the Minervois!
The Groles trotters of the Minervois, with the Coureurs marcheurs cavanacois and the rural center of Félines organize the Infernal Loop of the Minervois October 15 and 16 in Felines. The principle is simple: a 7 km loop with 170 m of elevation to run in less than an hour. A new start is given every hour. If a runner takes more than an hour to complete the loop, he is eliminated. All this until there is only one runner left or until a maximum of 24 hours, or 168 km and 4,080 m of elevation gain. The course has a little bitumen, and especially paths and track, in the middle of pines and vines. The first edition, last year, was held in Cavanac with the victory for the girls of Soline Charpentier with 9 loops, ie 63 km and for the boys of Julien Lacapelle with 12 loops for 84 km. Activities are planned in Félines all day on October 15 with bandas, tree climbing, archery, country dancing, make-up stand, mental preparation workshop with Aude Bonnet. There will also be on-site catering, the Groles trotters bar and village wine tastings. And the evening will be hosted by the Caldéra group.
