The athletes of the A Estrada Badminton Club, Nikol Carulla and Rodrigo Sanjurjo, have been selected by the Spanish team to compete in the Junior World Championships, which will be held in Santander between October 17 and 30. Carulla will compete in women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles, a modality in which he will compete with Sanjurjo. For his part, Rodrigo will participate in the men’s doubles and mixed doubles categories. Both Carulla and Sanjurjo have already played for the national team in the last European Championship played in Belgrade. In Cantabrian lands, Spain will be framed in Group F, along with Estonia, Belgium, Hong Kong and the Norwegian team.
