The best young Breton players, in tournament in Pontivy, this weekend – Pontivy



Réveil Laïque Pontivy (RLP) badminton is hosting, this weekend of September 24 and 25, 2022, the elite and hopeful phases of the first round of the Regional Youth Badminton Trophy. The 150 best young Bretons, girls and boys, from chicks to cadets, have been selected by the Ligue de Bretagne for this first major competition of the season. Among these competitors, we note the elite participation of the Le Clainche siblings (Lylou, Tyméo and Eléa) from Saint-Gérand, now licensed in Quimperlé. As well as that of the hopeful chick of Réveil Laïque Pontivy, Hugo Macé. “I started a year ago. I have already done three tournaments and I won one. I like to play a lot, ”assures the 9-year-old player. Hugo trains within the group of 8-17 year old competitors of the RLP, supervised by Cédric Borromé, Aubane Baucher and the president Wesley Janvier.

Practice

Badminton TRJ, Kérentré and Le Drogo rooms, in Pontivy. Saturday, from 9 a.m., men’s and women’s doubles, as well as mixed doubles. Sunday all day also, single tables for men and women. Free admission, snack bar and fast food on site.
