The Baronissi Sport Festival is back at the Parco della Rinascita

The event, organized by the Municipality of Baronissi, will be held from 8 to 11 September with performances of archery, beach volleyball and beach soccer, street basketball, mini-tennis

Back on Baronissi Sport Festival, the Sport Village organized by Common di Baronissi with the aim of promoting the values ​​of respect, sporting loyalty and fair play. The event will be held from 8 to 11 September at the Parco della Rinascita with performances of archery, beach volleyball and beach soccer, street basketball, mini-tennis; champions will animate the boxing ring with demonstrations and mini lessons for all fans of the Village. And still street soccer, rowing, street racing, marching, crossfit, table tennis, table football, board games, chess. For the first time there will be the “Dodgeball” (a kind of poisoned ball), medieval fencing, aerial dance, pool dance and a competition for Iron man. Inside the sports village there will be an area entirely dedicated to children, with inflatables and the practice of starting activities for sports. The Fire Brigade will set up Pompieropoli, where children can try their hand at sport climbing, obstacle courses and other fun competitions. One hundred volunteers committed to the success of the event.

“The Village will become a great place to meet and socialize – explains the mayor Gianfranco Valiante – a way to bring many people closer to sport, for the dissemination of a culture of health and active inclusion. Now more than ever, sports promotion, after years of pandemic, is a priority and a point of reference for all families and children ”.

They will be days of great participation with the involvement of sports associations not only in the territory – comments the councilor for sport Marco Picarone – we wanted to characterize the Sports Village as an opportunity to promote sport but also as a care and inclusion for the frail and less well off ”.
