The Asd baseball softball club Godo organizes, for Saturday 24 September starting at 10 am, a non-competitive sports marathon open to all: “12 hours Baseball Game – Godo 2022”. At the “A. Casadio” stadium, in via Rivalone 3/1 in Godo di Russi, with free admission, music, entertainment and good food available to all. The event, which closes the 2022 sports season of Godo Baseball, will feature numerous initiatives. The “match” will see the blue team and the red team face off. Anyone can participate. When registering, you choose which shirt to wear. The match direction maintains the list of players on the field and the “waiting list” for entry into the field.
During the 12 hours, bands reserved for children, adults, softball, baseball, etc. will be identified. Outside these ranges, slow pitch will be played regardless of age. The players of the top flight of Hort @ Godo will be present on the pitch to assist and support the participants. The “game” will be the center of the event, but the collateral initiatives will not be lacking. The Godo Baseball coaches will be available to the participants to teach the basics of the game and to involve them in exciting “training”. It will be possible to try your hand at the “off-field match” and in the “strike match”. From 6pm the atmosphere will warm up thanks to the Dj set by Mario Romario Colonna of Radio Studio Delta. The food stand will be open throughout the day with “delicacies for the palate and drinks for the thirsty”. The event will have as its common denominator the diffusion of the magnificent sport of baseball and will be used to make everyone feel the thrill of being on clay.
