Men’s singles became the sector that gave Denmark the most titles in the tournament.

The Scandinavian country has recorded 35 titles from this prestigious number.

Morten Frost became the most successful player with a contribution of eight wins.

There are at least four players who contributed to the title of representing Indonesia.

On the other hand, Rudy Hartono became Indonesia’s most successful men’s singles at the Denmark Open.

The Indonesian badminton legend is known to have contributed three titles which he won in 1971, 1973 and 1975.

Liem Swie King became the second men’s singles player to award the title to Indonesia.

The figure who is often dubbed the King of Smash won the Denmark Open title in 1978.

Thirteen years later, Hermawan Susanto equaled the achievements of Rudy and Liem Swie King.

Hermawan won the Danish Open in 1991.

Having experienced a title fast for more than 18 years, the Indonesian men’s singles returned to the highest podium at the Denmark Open in 2009.

Simon Santoso is the fourth player to present the title for Indonesia in the men’s singles number.

Simon also became the last men’s singles player to win.

Currently, Indonesia is relying on two names Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie in the 2022 Denmark Open edition.
