Macerata Softball promoted to the Italian top flight. After more than 10 years, the girls of baseball return to A1 with the third consecutive victory in the final series of A2 Softball 2022 against Itas Mutua Rovigo. A dominated game (7 to 0) that definitively establishes the quality of the Macerata players and the virtuous work of the technical staff. After winning the first two races in Rovigo (11-8 in race 1 and 11-8 in race 2), Macerata does not disappoint expectations at home, also thanks to the impressive performance of Luana Luconi on the platform (6.0 IP, 0 H , 0 R, 8 SO, 1 BB), which grants a single base on ball. The promotion arrives with merit in Macerata, after a season of absolute supremacy over all the rest (25 wins and 3 defeats in the regular season).
