Selective “Grandfather” begins heading to Pan American

Mexicalense archer Luis “Abuelo” Álvarez began his journey to the Pan American Archery Championship in Chile on Tuesday, with the National Selective in recurve bow that takes place at the facilities of the National Center for High Performance (CNAR).
The Mexican Archery Federation (FMTA), directed by Santiago Avitia Hernández, will carry out the National Selective with the aim of forming the tricolor team, both in the men’s and women’s recurve branches.
Mexico, which already has the national team in compound bow, will be present at the XXVI Pan American Archery Championship in Santiago 2022, from November 21 to 27, an event that the Olympic medalist in Tokyo 2020 hopes to qualify for, “Grandpa ” Alvarez.
