Second victory: Corsarios defeats Caribbean Storm in professional basketball

Corsairs from Cartagena achieved their second victory of the season, in the professional basketball Wplay League, by beating Caribbean Storm from San Andrés on Tuesday, playing the local role at the Elias Chegwin Coliseum in Barranquilla. Thus, the battleship balances the balance, adding two victories and two defeats in the championship.

The American Travis James Atson contributed 26 points for the victory of the Cartagena quintet, while his compatriot Santiago Logan got 18 points for the team led by Venezuelan coach Carlos Gil. “Chiquillo” Hernández de María La Baja grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Cartageneros will play again this weekend, in their first series away from home: Corsarios will visit Búcaros de Bucaramanga on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.
