A large delegation of the Belgian cycling team traveled from Wollongong to Sydney on Monday to support the Belgian Cats against Bosnia. Brand new world champion Remco Evenepoel and vice world champion Lotte Kopecky enjoyed the Belgian victory.
The two cycling champions were received afterwards in the dressing room of the Cats. There was time for a short chat and some photos and Evenepoel and Kopecky also spoke to the group.
“It was my first basketball game,” Kopecky confessed. “It was nice to see you guys at work. Congratulations!”
“Congratulations on your competition. It was great to see you win. It was an honor to be here”, said Remco Evenepoel. “I wish you the best of luck with the rest of the tournament. We are all behind you. I am convinced that you will do well.”
