Possible differences between directors revealed, Committee of the Colombian Football Federation | Colombia selection

The Colombian Football Federation (FCF) is in the news not because of some important administrative achievement but because of an alleged fight in its leadership.

The facts have to do with a letter, signed by five of the seven members of the Executive Committee (except Fernando Jaramillo, president of Dimayor) and addressed to the president, Ramón Jesurún, in which they claimed the right they have to attend all the matches of all the national teams.

According to the newspaper El Tiempo, every time they are on these missions, the directors receive $400 a day in travel expenses. It is said that the annoyance arose because a few days ago, in Peru, the directors who accompanied the delegation had to pay for lunch out of their pockets.

However, Álvaro González, president of Difútbol, denied the differences in said newspaper: “What they have commented on is not true. In that meeting, they only touched on issues of the budget and its modus operandi for the new period that is beginning. In the same meeting, as in many others, different concepts are heard and expressed according to the opinion one has on a respective topic. It ended without any shock and with the customary camaraderie and friendship that has always characterized us and always keep together.”

The differences, in any case, are aired between soccer managers, who would not be entirely satisfied with some management and would have openly stated it.
