From last to first row. After waiting in the peloton, Goldino Bello (No. 11) went on the offensive mid-straight and broke away irreparably from his opponents to win this quinté contested by sixteen competitors on the 1,600 m course of the Chantilly round track (Oise). Ridden to perfection by Tony Piccone, this resident of Gavin Hernon finds a just reward for his efforts by winning for the first time at this level for his fourteenth participation. He offers his mentor a second quinté and allows his jockey to win for the forty-second time at this level.
Two lengths from the winner, Royal Robbins (n°7), our last minute at 0.892.683.675, is clearly ahead The Laureate (n°16), constantly noticed in the leading group. Author of a good end of race, Come Say Hi (n°12) seizes the fourth and precedes by a neckline Fly d’Aspe (n°6), quickly noticed in the leading group, which is slightly ahead Ciccio Boy (No. 10), the favorite.
