DESIGNING THE CITY OF TOMORROW

Meetings and inspiring exchanges to (re)think the city of tomorrow and adopt new habits.

Activities on registration

  • 10 a.m. (Saturday only): Challenge Ma Terre with the NGO Surfrider Foundation Europe – Antenne de Paris: a Clean Tag action (awareness message tag) to raise awareness along the Ourcq canal (departure will be at the fountain in Battle of Stalingrad Square).
  • 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.: 3-hour workshop with La Fresque du Climat to understand the main issues of climate change and take action!

Free access from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • A space to raise awareness of ocean protection with Surfrider around quizzes and DIY workshops (surprise of the tide, making your own toothpaste, etc.).
  • A short quiz to grasp the issues of La Fresque du Climat and get started in the long-term workshop!
  • Workshops with experts to understand your carbon footprint and adopt eco-responsible actions for your entire home, with the Kaba
  • Eau de Paris activities and fountains to encourage the consumption of tap water and limit plastic waste.
  • A space for testimonials and presentation of Civic Service for young people who wish to get involved in their city and engage with fellow citizens.
  • Beer workshops with Meteor, a French brasserie, family-run and committed for eight generations!
  • Discover the My Little Paris cabin, an ode to the City of Light at the heart of a committed festival. Here, take care of yourself for a moment: stroll, write, laugh, and above all, dream.

MOVE IN THE CITY

Try out new sports to relax and exercise. Experiment with new forms of soft mobility to explore the city and get around differently.

Activity on registration

Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. Join the festival by electric bike from the Motto workshop in the Marais at 68 rue des Archives (Paris, IIIe). On the occasion of Car-Free Day, Sunday September 18, come and learn about new modes of travel!

Free access from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Climbing, for young and old, on a large wall or on bouldering with different routes to discover this sport independently or with instructors from the French Mountain and Climbing Federation and the Climbing District. From 4 years old
  • Archery, to discover with instructors from the Comité de Tir à l’Arc du 93. From 7 years old
  • Pétanque, as a team and accompanied by a Pétancoeurs leader.
  • Exercise with family or friends: ping-pong, Mölkky, ball games with free access.
  • A bicycle repair and maintenance workshop at the entrance to the festival, to combine business with pleasure!

REJUVENATE IN THE CITY

New gentle practices to take time for yourself and do good to your body and mind.

Activities on registration

  • 10 a.m.: Parent-child yoga from 3 years old, with the Parisian Amazons
  • 11 a.m.: Vinyasa yoga, with the Parisian Amazons
  • 11 a.m.: Tai-chi, with Creasens
  • From 2 p.m.: holistic introductory Ayurveda workshops, talking circles, intuitive dance & bodypainting

Free access from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Shiatsu massages, with specialists from the Shiatsu Syndicate
  • ASMR massages and sensory relaxation, with Relax&Sons
  • Guided meditations using headphones, with MIND
  • Discovery of reflexology, with the Union and Federation of Reflexology
  • Big sale of plants with Plante pour tous: a selection coming directly from the producer and accessories in spades. First come, first served !
  • Ephemeral tattoos in the caravan, offered to festival-goers, young and old; but also real flash tattoos in the rules of the art!

PLAY IN TOWN

A dedicated space and a multitude of activities for children or to share with the family

Activity on registration

●11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Virtual escape game Les Magiciens du Numérique: an immersive and fun experience for 9/12 year olds to raise awareness of the risks and learn how to avoid digital pitfalls as a team. Offered by Orange, in partnership with the e-Enfance association.

  • Introduction to circus arts workshops with Cirque Phénix
  • The Cité des Bébés Lab, reserved for toddlers (0-23 months) and their parents: a Mongolian yurt for musical exploration, water games and other surprises, by the Cité des sciences et de l ‘industry.
  • About fifteen board games in free access to have fun with family or friends, thanks to the Grenier Ludique.
  • Creative and nature workshops to discover the world while having fun with Teepee, in a joyful and benevolent atmosphere: decoration, planting, coloring, masks & Koinobori workshops. From 3 years old.
  • Library Outside the walls of the Paris City Hall: provision of picture albums, tales and other stories to read, leaf through or listen to for young readers, and activities around a small Kamishibaï theater – Saturday only
  • A space and self-service stands for the whole family: an organic make-up stand for young and old, a space to build the city of tomorrow in Kapla accompanied by animators, giant OMY coloring pages to express all your creativity, giant wooden games to have fun together.
