The Bills followed up their 31-10 win over the defending Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams by dominating an opponent who had their number the past two seasons.

Fullback Reggie Gilliam and linebacker Matt Milano, on a 43-yard interception return, also had a touchdown for the Buffalo Troops, which were making their comeback at home.

Allen topped 300 aerial yards for a 15e times in his career, completing 26 of 38 passes for 317 yards. He was not used in the fourth quarter.

Diggs caught 12 balls for a total of 148 yards. He surpassed the 100-yard mark in the first two games of the season, which had only been accomplished once in Bills history, by Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed .

The Bills scored at least 30 points for the second time, after scoring nine times last year. Their defense limited the Titans to 182 rushing yards and 12 first downs while recording two sacks.

The Titans, coming off a 21-20 loss to the New York Giants, are 0-2 for the first time since 2012.

The two-time defending AFC Western champions face several questions about a defense that allowed 313 passing yards, a week after allowing 238 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Derrick Henry and the Titans offense continued to misfire. Henry was for just 25 yards on 13 carries, but he scored a major on a two-yard dive.

The Bills, two-time defending American East Division champions, continued to sparkle in their second consecutive prime-time appearance. They also erased past frustrations, including a 42-16 loss to the Titans in 2020.

There were also memories of a 34-31 loss at Buffalo, when the Bills blew a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter and watched as Allen was stopped at the goal gate on fourth down in the final seconds of the game last season.

This time, the Bills scored on their first offensive streak and they didn’t look back.
