MJC: neighborhood entertainment

On August 29 and 30, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Maison du Temps Libre located on rue Jacques Prévert and at the esplanade des Courréous, the MJC has set up a neighborhood event which aims to strengthen ties between inhabitants, residents of all ages, after two complicated years due to the health crisis which has scattered the social bond.

This action is financed by the city contract GIP, the agglomeration community TLP. Were present to coordinate the various activities: The MDS 65, the Departmental council, the ODS.

In the infrastructures lent by the Town hall of Aureilhan and on the Promologis space of the residence of Courréous everyone had pleasure to meet on many animations.

This beautiful momentum of the neighborhood summer party was marked by the presence of the long-distance and long-distance section of the ASCA, which passed the baton of races and walks through a biathlon embellished with laser shooting, all under the control of the ODS which led a sports event open to all, young and old. At the same time, and still on the Courréous esplanade, the 65 departmental chess game committee initiated its board game on several boards called chessboards. The sixty boxes filled before the king judged the game, in turn, the children of the MJC accompanied by their animators joined the Maison du Temps Libre where the Pyrénées Manga association presented video games, virtual reality , pixel art workshop, all focused on the needs and importance of water for living in society and in all countries of the world on the planet.

A good number of residents and inhabitants outside the city of Couréous and surroundings have joined this neighborhood activity which has been a great success with the MJC of Aureilhan.

The club has resumed its activities since August 29 with registrations every evening at the Dojo from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Today the club is present at the meeting of the Aureilhan associations from 2 p.m. on the stand of the judo committee at the sports festival in Soues. All training will resume from Monday, September 5. JBD
