Mamadassa Sylla is eliminated from the Greco-Roman World Championships. Fighting in the – 67 kg category, the French fell on a bone in the person of Mateusz Bernatek, the Polish vice-champion of Europe in 2021. Defeated 6-3 on points, Sylla had already experienced difficulties to come to end of Kazakh Din Mukhamed Koshkar, already on points (9-5). The French can still hope to be drafted.
As for the other Blues, Ibrahim Ghanem (- 72 kg) will fight for a bronze medal on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. Johnny Bur (- 77 kg), meanwhile, will not be drafted.
