Major League Baseball (MLB) has been somewhat quieter about its entry into “social justice” activism than, say, the National Football League (NFL). Still, the same is happening. The MLB website now displays an entire section devoted to “social justice”, complete with promotional material for Project 1619 and some trashy fiction called White fragility. During the George Floyd saga, as you may recall, several MLB players knelt openly just like their NFL and National Basketball Association (NBA) counterparts.
The MLB also intervened on “gun violence,” partnering with gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety to warn baseball fans of “facts about the impact of gun violence” on America.
Perhaps the most troubling issue of “social justice” embraced by the MLB is the transgender mutilation of children. MLB “Pride Nights,” which began in the early 2000s, features fundraisers that support “sex change” operations for children.
This includes “gender affirming” surgeries and gender-bending “masculinizing” and “femicidal” drugs, which MLB seems to have no problem targeting young children.

Online ticket buyers were greeted with a payment option that allowed them “the ability to support a local Pride organization of your choice”. In the drop-down menu, two clinics that perform gender transitions on children have been listed: the Ruth Ellis Center and Corktown Health.
The Detroit Tigers team also promotes the Trans Sistas of Color Project, which funds groups such as Trans Minor Rights that “fight to allow transgender young people to make their own decisions about puberty blocks”, that is, “without requiring the consent of a parent “.
That group’s slogan is “Unblock Blockers,” suggesting that puberty blockers should be given out to children like candy whenever they ask for them, without parental permission or even knowledge.
