The celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of Greater Büdingen in Germany take place from September 22 to 25. The new German municipal team invited its twin town to take part in the event. Eight Loudéaciens made the trip, Alain Bosson, councilor delegated to associative life and referent of the twinning side judo representing the municipality. Gwenaëlle Kervella, assistant and referent of the twinning could not make the trip this time. The opportunity for Bruno Le Bescaut, mayor, to recall the importance of this twinning: “We can all be proud, because this twinning, like others, contributes to strengthening Europe from its base, that is i.e. the people. And in these complicated times, we need it, more than ever”.
