Lionel Messi’s New Nickname: The Weasel

Lionel Messi apparently has a new nickname, from his colleague in the Argentine national team. The Flea, aka La Pulga, the owner of 7 Ballon d’Or is now called ‘The Weasel’.

The nickname was revealed, after Argentina bulldozed Honduras in a friendly match. Messi scores two goals, in a 3-0 win Albiceleste at Sun Life Stadium, United States, Saturday (24/9) morning WIB.

After the match, as usual, Messi uploaded a photo of his appearance on social media. “Another great night with the national team, thanks for the support,” he captioned the photo.

In the comments column, apparently there is a conversation between Rodrigo De Paul and Papu Gomez. The two Argentine stars spoke something, which was said to refer to the figure of Messi.

“How did the fox bite?” wrote De Paul.

“The fox is really crazy,” replied Papu Gomez.

The Weasel is said to refer to the figure of Messi. Launch Brandthe 35-year-old attacker means being called ‘The Weasel’ by his colleagues.

I don’t know why Messi is called ‘The Weasel’. However, there is an assumption that the call was given from a colleague who can be on the same team as La Pulga. The term ‘The Weasel’ is called because of the size of Messi’s body in certain parts, which are called abnormal.

Messi, as a player, was previously nicknamed GOATan acronym for Greatest of All Time or ‘Best of All Time’. The predicate was won because Messi became the only player to hold 7 Ballon d’Or titles and was so successful at Barcelona. He can make 672 goals and present dozens of trophies for the Blaugrana.

In the Argentine national team, the player who is now defending Paris Saint-Germain has also won the Copa America. Lionel Messi also set a record as the all-time top scorer for his country, which made 88 goals at international level.
