In the Primera Division, Barcelona has easily washed the piglet called Elche. After an early red card, the visitors had no chance in Camp Nou. Robert Lewandowski scored twice.
Red lantern Elche may have already gone to Barcelona with little ambition and an early red card from Verdu completely plummeted the latter’s chances in the standings.
The visitors could inevitably postpone it for another half hour, but then Lewandowski hit the mark. Depay doubled the score before half time. Early in the 2nd half, Lewandowski also signed for the 3-0 on a pass from Depay.
In the remainder of the game, the home team had a number of opportunities, but were unable to score. With the win, Barcelona puts pressure on rival Real Madrid, who will play the Madrid derby against Atletico tomorrow night.
