Jürgen Klopp criticizes Todd Boehly for wanting an All-Star Game in England

Todd Boehly, owner of Chelsea Premier Leaguehas generated controversy with his most recent statements about English football. american businessman suggested that the Premier League should have its own All-Star Game between the northern and southern teams so that the league could have more capital income.

“I hope the Premier League learns a little bit about American sports and really starts to figure out why there isn’t an all-star game or why we wouldn’t do a tournament with the bottom four teams in the standings. People talk about more money for the pyramid. The MLB made its all-star game this year and they won 200 million dollars between a Monday and Tuesday. You could do an All-Star Game of the north against the south to finance the pyramid more easily”Boehly said recently.

Klopp rejects this proposal

However, the idea does not seem to be to the liking of many characters that make up the Premier League. Jürgen KloppLiverpool strategist, was questioned about it and true to his style he answered bluntly.

“Excellent. When you find a date for that, you can call me… Do you want to bring the Harlem Globetrotters too and let them play against a football team?”specified the German helmsman, who made clear his null support for this initiative.
