NBA 2K23’s MyCareer mode will feature the largest and most involved storyline in franchise history.
Hip-hop artist J.Cole will feature in the mode MyCareer of NBA 2K23, which tells a story beginning after the NBA Draft. Players will attempt to become the best basketball players possible, while managing their lives off the court in music, fashion, and business. A rich cast of characters and cameos will be featured in NBA 2K23’s story mode, including helping players befriend J. Cole in an effort to capture the hearts and souls of The City (PS5 exclusive, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S).

The Dreamer Edition of NBA 2K23 will be exclusively available at GameStop in the United States and Canada. Note that the soundtrack of NBA 2K23 will be composed of several famous artists, including Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow and Polo G, among others. 2K Sports will add new songs every Friday as part of ongoing updates to the game-service model.
The GOAT Boat replaces the Cancha Del Mar for NBA 2K23’s Neighborhood mode
The luxury cruise ship GOAT Boat is the big brother of the Cancha Del Mar, whose completely new layout prioritizes accessibility as much as style and elegance. There are similarities, like the bridge system and the Boardwalk, which will help players navigate the GOAT Boat quickly without spending too much time getting lost and confused.
