Former Serbian basketball star Bodiroga has become the president of the Euroleague

During his playing career, forward Bodiroga became a three-time Euroleague champion, winning two titles with the Athens “Panathinaikos” team and one with the “Barcelona” team.

The 49-year-old Bodiroga also won championships in Italy, Greece and Spain during his career. Representing the national team of Serbia and Montenegro, Bodiroga won two world championship titles, three European championship gold medals and became the Olympic vice-champion.

After the end of his basketball career, Bodirog was the Vice President of the Serbian Basketball Federation, and then headed the Competition Commission of the European Division of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

Meanwhile, the director of the Euroleague will be the American Marshall Glickman, who has rich experience in the sports industry, including the National Basketball Association (NBA).
