Former Los Angeles Lakers star, Dwight Howard could have a new sports inspiration that would be away from the courts. And it is that according to him he confessed to the TMZ Sports portal he is studying formally joining wrestling and retiring from basketball once and for all.
According to recent comments made by Howard, he explained that he would listen to an offer to join the WWE roster even in the near future.
Regarding a possible offer, he commented that if it were better than the one he would receive from an NBA team, he would have no problem accepting it.
“Any opportunity is the best,” Howard mentioned about joining WWE and facing figures like Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashey, among others.
What is striking is that Howard has already flirted with WWE in the past after appearing last July at a promoter test in Nashvillewhere he showed that he has the tools to perform in the best way in the ring.
If his entry into the world of wrestling materializes, Howard would leave the NBA after 18 seasons in which he won a championship ring in 2020eight-time All-Star Game assistant, eight-time All-NBA quintet and three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
