The big Sané show at Bayern’s victory |

First surprise, then outstanding

The series lasts!

Bayern also win their 19th Champions League opener in a row – 2-0 at Inter Milan.

Unbelievable: 20 years ago there was no win at the start (September 18, 2002, 2:3 against La Coruna).

The record champion seems ready to catch up in the league (two games without a win, third place) and to see ex-star Robert Lewandowski (34) again in the premier class!

The world footballer is visiting the Allianz Arena with Barcelona on Tuesday. Lewandowski scored three goals in the 5-1 win over Pilsen (34’/45’+3/67′).

And the Bavarians? 148 days after the quarter-finals against Villarreal (0: 1, 1: 1), they show that they can be expected this year.

First surprise, then outstanding!

Coach Nagelsmann (in a dark suit with a dark tie) brings Sané surprisingly like Union instead of Gnabry. And the national player repays the trust with a mega performance!

► 25 minutes: Long ball from Kimmich from his own half. Sané takes the ball at full speed with his left foot and with his chest. Hook around Inter goalkeeper Onana, shot with the right – 0:1!

Sané at DAZN: “I saw the room, knew that they were high and had gaps. Jo saw me great, it was a great ball from him.”

Inter’s German national player Robin Gosens (28) at DAZN: “We get a goal from a long ball. That’s exactly what we discussed before.”

Julian Nagelsmann (35) at DAZN: “We scored a bit too few goals, but we deserved to win. We played quite maturely, it could only have been decided earlier.”

► 66 minutes: Sané with a double one-two with Coman. Again he shoots with his right hand. D’Ambrosio wants to clarify, but hits the ball himself, the 0:2.

Goal and assist against Inter, Sané show in Milan!

Sports director Salihamidzic recently said about the winger in the BILD podcast “PhrasenMawer”: “For him it’s about becoming the best, giving everything and leading this team to the title in the Champions League.”

Just like in Milan! For the national player, it is the fourth goal in the eighth competitive game this season before the eyes of national coach Flick.

Nagelsmann stretches his index fingers in the air, screams his joy and slaps his hand on his chest. The 5,000 Bayern fans in San Siro also cheer, chanting “European Cup, European Cup”.

ugly: Again and again, pyrotechnics are set off in the guest block.

A moment of shock just before the break. Sabitzer and Kimmich bang together. The latter needs treatment but can continue playing with a thick violet under his left eye.

And Inter? If it gets dangerous, it’s through Dzeko. The ex-Wolfsburg player (2007 to 2010) misses the best chances of the Italians (35th/50th).

Again Gosens: “The victory for Bayern is okay, but we were not without a chance.”

In the end, Bayern celebrate their fourth win in their fourth game at Inter…
