Euro 2023 qualifications: Belgium U19 shares with Spain and will play the Elite Tour, Mario Stroeykens sees red

Belgium and Spain shared the stake (0-0) on Tuesday in Genk during the second meeting of group 7 of the qualifications for Euro 2023 football reserved for under-19s. After an inaugural victory against Albania (3-1)the players of Thierry Siquet will play the Elite Tour.

With the suspension of Russia, excluded from the group, Belgians and Spaniards were already qualified before going on the lawn. Despite the lack of stake, the meeting was rhythmic and committed. In the previous edition, won on July 1 by England, Belgium was eliminated in the Elite Tour after beating Finland (3-1), sharing the challenge with Germany (2-2) and lost to Italy (2-0). Belgium won the event in 1977.
