Daugavins had an assist in the German championship game; Robert Bukart scored a goal in the Czech Extra League match

On Sunday, Latvian forward Kaspars Daugaviņš stood out in the German Hockey League (DEL) with an assist, which did not save the Izerollan “Roosters” he represented from losing.

“Roosters” lost to Munich “Red Bull” with the result 1:4 (1:0, 0:0, 0:4) in the role of home team.

Daugavins assisted in the team’s only goal in the second minute of the match, when Christopher Brown sent the puck into the opponent’s goal after he and Lina Bergman’s passes. He also had two rejections in the third period, in the second of which the opponents scored a goal.

The Latvian hockey player was on the ice for 15 minutes and 58 seconds, during which he won six out of eight shots, earned two two-minute suspensions, scored once on the opponent’s goal and ended the match with a negative efficiency coefficient of -1.

“Roosters” ranks 13th in the tournament table with three points won in four matches.

Robert Bukarts scores a goal in a Czech Extra League match win

Latvian hockey player Roberts Bukarts scored a goal in the Czech extra league game on Sunday, helping “Rider” of Vītkovice win over “Ocelārži” of Kārļas Čukste Tršinec.

“Ridera” beat “Ocelarži” away with a score of 5:3 (1:1, 1:2, 3:0).

Buckart scored in the second period to tie the game at 2-2. He spent a total of 16 minutes and 55 seconds on the ice, almost four and a half minutes of which he played in the majority. The Latvian hockey player scored a total of two shots on the opponent’s goal and accumulated a positive efficiency coefficient of +1.

Chukste played 18 minutes and 37 seconds in the opponent’s line, during which he blocked one opponent’s shot and had a negative efficiency coefficient of -4.

Also, Uvja Jānis Balinska’s “Bīlī Tygrži” from Liberec lost to Brno “Kometa” in the post-game penalty shootout with a score of 2:3 (0:0, 2:2, 0:0, 0:0, 0:1).

Balinskis assisted in the team’s second goal in the 37th minute, which allowed them to take the lead with 2:1, but after three minutes “Kometa” tied the game.

The Latvian hockey player was on the field for 22 minutes and 44 seconds, which was the second longest time in the game for the home team. During the time spent on the ice, he played more than four minutes in the majority, shot at the opponent’s goal three times, blocked one shot and ended the match with a negative efficiency coefficient of -1.

In another game, “Rytīrži” of Kristap Sotnieka and Oskar Cibulska Kladno won at home with the result 2:1 (1:0, 1:0, 0:1), while Māra Bičevska’s “Mlada Boleslav” will visit with the result 3:2 (1 :1, 1:0, 0:1, 1:0) won over Pardubice “Dynamo” in overtime.

At the beginning of this season, there are 11 Latvian hockey players in the teams of the Czech extra league.
