After the Euro, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot signs with a cador!

Passing through the Hawks last season, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot is still part of the free agents a few days before the resumption. Nevertheless, the Frenchman has finally found a new opportunity, even if he will have to prove himself on the floor. Direction the Western conference for the back.

Without a franchise for a few months after leaving Atlanta, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot was hoping to make a big Eurobasket to get a new opportunity in the North American league. He posted some interesting performances, without being a hit under the leadership of Vincent Collet, but with a place in the grand final. Enough to get a chance in the NBA, since the Frenchman has indeed found an organization.

New opportunity for TLC!

The signing hasn’t been announced by the biggest insiders, and yet TLC will have a team for the next few weeks at least. The Suns, when revealing the list of players present for training camp next week, confirmed the presence of the Frenchman in the workforce. The journalist Kellan Olson specifies that it is about a precarious contract, which means that the interested party will have to prove itself.

The Suns have announced they have signed Frank Jackson and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot. Both have contracts for the camp. Here is the list of the roster and the staff.

Clearly, TLC will have to impress the Suns to try to obtain a place in the final roster for the season, alongside Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Phoenix has only one place left with two contenders, which leaves a real chance for the Frenchman to win.

The other possibility is a two-way contract, which would perhaps be a regression for Timothé, who will have to think about his future if the Suns refuse to keep him. We imagine that a return to Europe is not to be excluded either.

The Suns have 14 spots used + two two-way contracts. They still have a spot open for Jackson or TLC, who could get it in this camp.

A battle with two players for a single place is what is taking shape for Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, who will have to prove that he belongs to the NBA. Otherwise, his future will remain very vague, with a possible return to Europe to be considered. For now, let’s hope the Suns decide to keep him.
