Bruno was injured at the beginning of September, while participating in the world championship stage in the Czech Republic, where in the last lap of the qualifying race Daniela (KTM Motofavoritis) piloted crew experienced a fall. Bruno was diagnosed with a broken arm, which put an end to the athlete’s participation in both the Latvian Championship and the Nations Cup.
In order not to miss the last stage of the Latvian championship, where the fate of the Latvian championship title will be decided, the team urgently had to find a replacement for Bruno. One was found in Lithuania, attracting an experienced passenger Konstantin Beleckiwho has been participating in the world championship for a long time, riding with such well-known motocross pilots as Daniels Vilemsens (Netherlands), Christoph Santermann (Belgium), Tims Leferinks (Netherlands) and also others. Also, he once rode together with the old master of Latvian sidecar motocross Blue Štella.
The Lielbarži brothers are just one step away from their first major title. Their closest competitors in the Latvian championship are Maris Rupeik ar Kaspar Liepinu (Module MX), who are 31 points behind in the overall ranking table. If Daniel and Konstantinas manage to work together and everything will be in order with the equipment, they will be able to go to the Nations, which will take place from September 24-25 in the Czech Republic, as the new Latvian champions in the sidecar class.
