Colombia national team begins concentration in the US

The first cycle of work of Néstor Lorenzo begins at the head of the Colombian National Team. After announcing the call for friendlies against Guatemala and Mexico, the national team began their concentration in New York where they will work throughout the week as part of their tour of the United States which will end next Tuesday in Santa Clara, California.

The players who did not have competition this weekend like Luis Díaz and Luis Sinisterra, as well as those who played this Saturday like Dávinson Sánchez who played with Tottenham and Jefferson Lerma who added minutes with Bournemouth have already arrived at the concentration. The other footballers will join throughout the day, while a few more are expected this Monday.

“They are coming! Our players made their arrival at the concentration of the Colombian National Team in New York”, reported the Colombian Football Federation on its social networks.

Players will be checked by the medical department and will do gym work, while This Monday, September 19, the Colombian National Team will have its first training session in the field. The national team will work in the afternoon at the Red Bull Training Center.

The Colombian National Team will face Guatemala this Saturday, September 24 at 6:30 pm (Colombian time) at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The second game of the tour is scheduled for Tuesday the 27th against Mexico in Santa Clara, California. In the last match, the Tricolor will debut its new alternate jersey.
