Hartley reportedly returned to help develop children’s and youth sports in the Omsk region. He is also engaged as a consultant of “Avangard” academy.
Hartley also participated in the opening event of “G-Drive Arena” in Omsk on October 1.
The 61-year-old Canadian specialist left “Avangard” in April 2022. He managed the club since May 2018.
Under the leadership of Hartley, “Avangard” won the Gagarin Cup in 2021.
Hartley led the Latvian national team from 2016 to 2021.
