BCL: The regular season line-up made up

The 32-team regular season line-up for the seventh edition of the Basketball Champions League was finalized on Sunday, following qualifying tournaments in Belgrade, Lisbon, Malaga and Skopje.

Bakken Bears, SL Benfica, Unicaja Malaga and Tofas Bursa are the four clubs that won the final of their respective qualifying tournaments and clinched the tickets for the 2022-23 regular season.

The regular season field will therefore include 9 defending champions of their national league and the participating clubs represent 16 different European countries, including Portugal for the first time.

Dijon, Limoges and Strasbourg are the French clubs involved.

The regular season will start on October 3 and end on December 21 with half of the teams qualifying for the round of 16, which will take place from the end of January 2023 to March 2023.

The competition will then enter the quarter-final stage in April and culminate with the Final Four in May.
