Athlos compete successfully on several fronts

Club Athlos competes successfully on several fronts, having a presence in As Neves, Oviedo and Utrecht (Holland), achieving excellent results.

The closest competition that had the presence of Athlos Club athletes took place in As Neves. The competition brought together athletes Sub15 and Sub19 who demonstrated the high level existing in the Galician badminton.

Accompanied by coaches Óscar Rodríguez and Laura Valverde, the Athlos delegation won two golds, five silvers and three bronzes.

The athletes who attended the Master N4 in Oviedo It brought together U13 and U17 players. The Athlos group that was traveling was made up of 8 players accompanied by the coaches Sara Galicia and Olalla Fernández. Two silver medals and one bronze is the result with which they return to Ourense.

Athlos compete successfully on several fronts

The third competition with the presence of Club Athlos players was the AirBadminton Urban Series 2022 which was held in the city of Utrecht (The Netherlands). Laura Valverde, Antonio Iglesias and Sara Ezquerro are part of the Spanish National Team.

Among the novelties of this championship was a modality of badminton on the beach. In this new competition, the Spanish delegation achieved the Bronze medal. in the modality 3×3 menthe team made up of Pelayo Lucas, Adrián Álvarez and Athlos player Antonio Iglesias achieved a valuable Bronze medal.
