The fifteenth Italian 3D archery championship ended in San Vero Milis with the assignment of individual Italian titles. Although the rain put a strain on the athletes in the race, there was no lack of high-level emotions and challenges, with many Azzurri protagonists at the recent 3D World Championships in Terni. In the longbow win Paola Sacchetti (Archers Città di Pescia) and the world champion Giuliano Faletti (Archers of the Alps); in the instinctive gold arc for Nicola Kos (Arcieri Città di Terni) and the vice world champion Sabrina Vannini (Arcieri Città di Terni); in the naked arch the world champion Cinzia Noziglia (Fiamme Oro) and Alessio Noceti (Arcieri Tigullio) win; in the gold compound for the world champion Elisa Baldo (Archers Decumanus Maximus) and Michea Godano (Archers Tigullio).

At the end of the event organized by the Annuagras – Arcieri Nurachi and the Fitarco Regional Committee, held between the Is Arenas pine forest and the Is Arenas Golf & Country Club in Narbolia, during the award ceremony the president of Fitarco Mario Scarzella held us to thank all the blues present, including the technical director Giorgio Botto, for the results obtained at the recent World Championships in Umbria.

In the men’s compound, Micah Godano (Arcieri Tigullio) wins his first 3D flag and, in the remake of the final of the Castellarano Campaign Championship, takes revenge on the blue Marco Bruno (Arcieri Iuvenilia), who arrived in Sardinia after the individual bronze and the team and mixed team title won at the World Championships in Umbria. This time to get the gold is the athlete of the Ligurian company, who exceeds Bruno 43-42. Bronze for the home athlete Daniele Raffolini (Uras archers) winning 38-37 on Roberto Nevischi (Livorno Archers).

In women, after last year’s silver, the world champion Elisa Baldo (Arcieri Decumanus Maximus) earns her second Italian title, who overcomes Paola Valotti (Arcieri Città di Pescia) 39-35 in the final. Third place for the blue Maddalena Marcaccini (Sagitta Arcieri Pesaro), winning over Noemi Matzutzi (Archers Iuvenilia) 40-26.

In the instinctive arc (or traditional arc, according to the new wording of World Archery) the young blue Nicola Kos (Arcieri Città di Terni), winner of the bronze on his debut in the national team at the World Cup in Umbria, continues his positive period going to win his first Italian title with a score of 34-31, against a first-rate opponent like Enzo Lazzaroni (Archers of the Alps). Bronze for Luca Rossi (Archers Città della Pieve) who overtakes Ivano Lolli (Le Frecce di Santa Margherita) 31-29 in the final. World silver winner Sabrina Vannini (Arcieri Città di Terni), who arrived in San Vero Milis as outgoing Italian champion, earns her fourth tricolor after those of 2016, 2019 and 2021, beating Laura Vanotti (Stella Alpina archers) in the final. 26-23. Third place for Franca Grifoni (Hunter Archery Team) who wins over Michela Donati (Sagitta Arcieri Pesaro) 29-24.

In the male nude arc, after last year’s silver, he manages to earn his first Italian title Alessio Noceti (Arcieri Tigullio) by beating in the final 32-31 the world bronze medalist Giuseppe Seimandi (Fiamme Azzurre), who reached this tricolor edition as outgoing champion, but in the compound division. Bronze medal for Alberto Antonini (Archers of the Willows) who has the better of Massimo Olivieri (37-23). The world champion Cinzia Noziglia (Fiamme Oro) wins her fourth 3D tricolor flag and, after the successes of 2017, 2019 and 2021, repeats last year’s title overcoming her teammate Luciana Pennacchi (Arcieri Città di Pescia) in the final 36 -32. Bronze for Paola Lampazzi (Roman Archers), winning 36-32 over Elga Etzi (Arco Club San Giovanni Suergiu).

In the men’s longbow, after last year’s silver and gold won in 2019, the world champion Giuliano Faletti (Archers of the Alps) wins his second tricolor, overcoming Alberto Anselmi (Archers Castello di Peschiera) in comeback and measure 29 -28. The third place goes to Ivan Marescalchi (Arcieri Tigullio) winning over Alfredo Dondi (Le Frecce di Santa Margherita) 21-13. In women, the outgoing champion Paola Sacchetti (Arcieri Città di Pescia) reaches her fifth Italian titles after those of 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021, who wins the match against Maria Cristina Giorgetti (Sagitta Arcieri Pesaro) 30-23. Vice-world champion Iuana Bassi (Arcieri Tigullio) earns the bronze medal with 15-8 on Laura Marina Scanu (Archers of Tolerus).

Under 20 titles. Edoardo Pinna wins gold in the Under 20 longbow (Uras archers) overcoming Alessio Tironi (Archers of the Airone) 15-10. Bronze for Flavio Cau (Mejlogu archers) who beats 10-8 Andrea Pelliccioni (Sagitta Arcieri Pesaro). In the female instinctive arc, Asia Genovese (Archers Sagittario) wins gold, overtaking 28-13 Ylenia Bianchi (Archers of the White Fox), while the bronze goes to Emma Calcagno (Le Frecce di Santa Margherita) 23-10. In the men, Mattia Murialdo (Archers of the Alps) wins gold (but not the title) who overcomes 21-10 Jacopo Vukosa (Polisportiva Barbaiana). Bronze for Alessandro Balsamo (Arco Club Capri).

In the male nude arch, Matteo Seghetta (Archers Città della Pieve) wins the title: the young athlete – who played the recent 3D World Championship in Umbria as a starter – overcame Simone Figliola (Arcieri dell’Ortica) in the final 34-33, while third place went to Carlo Russo (Freccia di Fuoco) winning over Antonio Mottola (Arcieri della Stella) 26-20. Rania Braccini (Arcieri Lucca) wins instead the Italian women’s title in the play-off, who has the better of the blue Eleonora Meloni (Uras archers): after the four pitches the result is still at 31-31 and, at the shoot-off, both hit 8, but that of Braccini is closer to the center and is worth the title. Third place for Carlotta Cosso (Torres Sassari archers) which exceeds 23-18 Roberta Messina (Freccia di Fuoco).

Also in the compound it is another blue who wins the title: Leonardo Costantino (Archers of the Alps) wins over Samuele Tironi (Archers of the Airone) 36-34. The third square is gained Federico Piano (Torres Sassari archers) overtaking Davide Ciaccarini (Puma Riano) 28-18. To win the women’s gold (but not the title) is Giulia Di Nardo (Archers of the Alps) who has the better of Martina Del Duca in the final (Torres Sassari archers) for 34-24. Third place for Giada Baron (Archers of the Alps).
