Vigilance orange thunderstorms in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. A decision taken by Météo France until midnight like Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var and Vaucluse. The department will then go into yellow vigilance until 5 a.m. The weather is indeed very stormy this afternoon. These storms are likely to be strong, accompanied by hail and heavy rain that can accumulate nearly 70 mm of water. A relative calm is expected at the end of the day before a further deterioration in the night which could still induce a risk of strong thunderstorms. Note that the wind will be on call with gusts close to 100 km/h. Note that the yellow rain-flood vigilance is also activated for the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
