With the beginning of the date 22, in the Professional Soccer League with live the countdown for the definition of the two decreases that there will be by averages (if the regulations are not changed). And those who remain in the red zone are Board of Trustees and Aldosivi.
The current table of averages contemplates:
1) First Division Championship – Superliga 2019/2020 (the tournament that Boca snatched from River on the last date).
2) 2020 Super League Cup (computing only date 1, prior to the pandemic)
3) Points obtained in the General Table of Positions 2021.
4) Points obtained in the General Position Table 2022 (the current one).
The averages.
How is the red zone of the averages?
For now they are going downhill Board of Trustees (1,010) and Aldosivi (1,031). Then appear Arsenal (1,113), Central Córdoba (1,137), Godoy Cruz (1,154), Sarmiento (1,164) and Platense (1,164)).
If at the end of the 2022 Season, two or more teams equal the average points to define the relegations, a playoff match will be held.
Not a minor fact: the accumulated points will serve for the averages in 2023, the year in which there will be four teams that will descend. This, remember, if the AFA does not change what was unanimously resolved by the Assembly.
Of the 28 teams, there are four that divide by fewer games than the rest. Two are Platense and Sarmiento, promoted in 2021. And the other two are Tigre and Barracas Central, who joined in 2022.

After the 2022 LPF Tournament, the Champions Trophy is scheduled to be disputed, a final that has official validity but does not grant classification to any other competition, national or international. It will be played on a neutral court, in a single match, between the two champions of the year, the LPF Cup and the LPF Tournament.
In the event that the winner is the same in both competitions, the second finalist will emerge from a tiebreaker match, which must be played by the runner-up of the LPF Cup and the team that finishes in second place in the 2022 LPF Tournament. In case of being the same team that has been second in both competitions, it will be the one who will play the final of the mentioned trophy. It is scheduled to be played on November 6 (without being summoned to the World Cup, of course).

On April 19, at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the League headed by Claudio Tapia, the president of the AFA reported that the funds provided by Conmebol will be used to reward the champions of the different competitions. In this sense, it was proposed to distribute the million dollars in the following way: 250,000 dollars for the winner of the League Cup, another 250,000 green for the winner of the 2022 LPF Tournament and US$ 500,000 for the team that is consecrated in the Argentine Cup.
