Aaron Judge answers if he is capable of hitting the record for home runs in Barry Bonds’ MLB history

Con 55 homeruns to his credit, and very close to reaching the legendary mark of Roger Maris in New York Yankees, he was consulted if he can get the former left fielder.

Three and a half weeks before the end of the 2022 regular season of the Major League Baseball (MLB)the exclusive home run leader, and comfortably, is Aaron Judgestar of New York Yankeeswhich has reached 55.

At this point, he is six away from equaling the campaign of Roger Maris in 1961, which achieved 61 roletasewhich would make him the leading home run in a season for the Yankeesbut still very far from a record, at this point, almost impossible.

Since the player who has connected the most home runs in history, during an MLB season, was Barry Bondswhat in 2001 it reached 73a mark that Aaron Judge himself has recognized is very difficult to beat.

The record is the record; I saw him as a kid and he hit the ball into the bay with ease and that hasn’t changed in my mind, that mark is incredible and almost impossible to beatassured the Judge in dialogue with New York Post.

Still, the numbers Judge has put up so far in MLB 2022 are just amazing, because in addition to the 55 home runs, he has 111 runs scored and 118 RBIs, 86 walksa .408 OBP, .884 slugging percentage and 1.092 OPS, 16 stolen bases and batting .302.
