The Usep Nièvre departmental committee offered teachers to meet last Saturday for a back-to-school day. The objective of the day was to offer time to present activities, but also to allow teachers hired at Usep to take advantage of nautical activities offered by the Activital base in Baye.
They were twenty-five animators from the four corners of the department (Montsauche, Nevers, Livry, Cosne-sur-Loire, Corbigny, Chantenay, Decize, La Charité-sur-Loire, Coulanges-lès-Nevers, Varzy) to have answered at the invitation of the departmental committee for this day.
Canoe, paddle and sail
After an icebreaker, two groups were formed according to the participation of the facilitators or not in the school sports day 2021.
A group was offered an introduction to golf followed by a practice of some ultimate activities. The other group, meanwhile, discovered tchoukball, then took part in a biathlon race-archery, as well as a presentation of various health tools from Usep: pleasure tarpaulin, rulers, signs of fatigue.
After this lively morning, the two groups gathered for a convivial picnic. Then the day continued on the water, since the participants had the choice between three activities: canoeing, paddle and sailing. Under the guidance of the base’s facilitators, the Usépians therefore evolved on the water for two hours, with more or less agility.
A great success for this day which allowed everyone to fill up on energy for this new year. An experience to be repeated next year for the departmental committee.
